Built on Two Decades of Educational Leadership
Dr. Tiana Iruoje, Ed.D., is the founder of Teach & Tech Educational Services, LLC. She holds a Doctor of Education in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University Bloomington, along with a master’s degree in education with an emphasis on student affairs administration. With more than two decades of experience in education, Dr. Iruoje brings extensive expertise in educational technology, student engagement, community outreach, curriculum development, summer camps, learning labs, hackathons, and student-success programming.
Dr. Iruoje most recently served as Director of Student Engagement and Success at Indiana University Bloomington’s Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. In this role, she was instrumental in developing programs that strengthened student retention, increased engagement, and created meaningful connections among students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Colleagues have credited her with transforming Luddy into a more welcoming and connected community; often remarking that the school did not truly have a community center until Dr. Iruoje took the lead in building one where everyone felt welcome.
She also served as an adjunct lecturer for both the Luddy School and the Indiana University School of Education. Through her teaching, mentoring, and outreach, she helped students connect with Indiana University’s academic resources, professional networks, campus opportunities, and broader community while preparing them to enter any academic program at IU in addition to technology-related fields.
Throughout her career, Dr. Iruoje has held positions at Indiana University Bloomington, Ball State University, and Iowa State University, focusing on student engagement, academic planning, career development, retention, and community building. She was also elected to the Monroe County Community School Corporation Board of School Trustees, where she supports students and teacher professional development, educational innovation, and district strategy. In addition she serves as the President of the Southcentral Chapter of the Society of Women Engineers and a member of the Monroe County Women Commission.
Students and colleagues consistently describe Dr. Iruoje as a trusted connector and advocate who works tirelessly to ensure that people feel welcomed, supported, and connected. Organizations seeking an experienced partner in educational technology, community engagement, STEM programming, summer camps, learning labs, curriculum development, or student success will find that expertise through Teach & Tech.
When she is not helping others be successful, you will find her spending time with her family.
